Récontres 2017 Intersections of Architectural design and urban sports integration in a public space Intersections of Architectural design and urban sports integration in a public space is a story about a project in 2017 at the République Plaza in Paris. The featured sculpture designed by architect Guido Schuurman was also build for Urban Sports integration in mind. This project contributed to improvement of the social environment of this particular plaza in Paris , which had many problems and nuisance in the past. After the succes of this initiative the City of Paris and other large European cities became interested in this subject and it started the conversation about the use of public space in the near future.
